Do you have experience in the Medical Field?  CCA is currently seeking an experienced, passionate, and knowledgeable individual to serve in the capacity of MedWorks Specialist in our newest “Works” program – MedWorks (joining our Ag- and TechWorks Programs).   Our MedWorks program is based out of our Family Service Center located in Malvern, PA.

Commonwealth Charter Academy (CCA) is a K-12 public cyber charter school and is a leader in online education as well as the 2^nd largest public K-12 school in Pennsylvania.  CCA is, first and foremost, a family service organization with a deep expertise in education.  CCA, recently named as a Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania for the third consecutive year, employs more than 2,400 employees and is a beacon of educational excellence.  Our goal is to provide quality and flexible personalized learning experiences utilizing the latest developments and best practices in education so learners can structure a curriculum that sparks a passion for knowledge and growth. 

CCA MedWorks has created a state-of-the-art experiential based program designed to offer hands-on learning and exploration of healthcare fields through student exposure to a variety of skills that exist within the industry. At MedWorks, learners will receive a personalized experience utilizing the latest developments and best practices to spark interest in a potential healthcare pathway and help them succeed in their future careers.
The Specialist will report to the Director of MedWorks and will collaborate with other program staff and teachers to provide opportunities for our K-12 students. Throughout the state of Pennsylvania, CCA is developing multiple pathways for our learners and is seeking a candidate with passion, vision, and energy to help take this program to the highest level.

The ideal candidate will have worked in the capacity of either Clinical Specialist, Health Educator, EMT, LPN or RN and has a strong understanding of simulation modalities, medical terminology, disease states/anatomy, medical service lines, and a desire to integrate that knowledge in an activity-based environment.
