Before & After School Program Recreation Aides
** Part-Time Position **
 
Job Summary:
 
          Responsible for the safety and well-being of all before and after school care program students

Responsibilities:
 
• Supervise and lead a group of elementary school age students
• Plan and implement various recreation activities for the students, as well as, assist with homework
• Be aware of every child’s whereabouts at all times
• Communicate any and all incidents concerning the well-being of the children to supervisor
• Must be organized and professional
• Hours vary from 6:30 AM – 9:15 AM & 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM
• Must be available to work 5 days a week when school is in session
 
Requirements:
 
• Must be at least 17 years of age
• High School Diploma is preferred (current high school students may apply upon completion of an approved child care course or with prior work experience with school aged children)
• Some college credits in education or related field preferred
• Prior experience with school age children in excess of a year is preferred
