Library Para Job Description LIBRARY PARAPROFESSIONAL – needed half-time to assist district library coordinator, teachers, staff, and students to maximize utilization of the Hermosa School library. Assists the library coordinator in providing instruction and supervision in the Hermosa library. Will also assist students with checking out library books, have lunchroom duties, and other duties as assigned for 7.75 hrs/day, two days per week, starting $17.50/hr (Class III). Strong technology skills preferred for this position. Must be detail-oriented, professional, friendly, enjoy working with children, be flexible, and able to adapt to a very busy working environment. Will work according to school calendar starting mid-August 2025. Two years of college preferred or must pass the state-required paraprofessional exam prior to starting.
