Night Custodian
1. Executes general work duties as described
2. Maintains an attendance record which reflects punctuality and regular attendance
3. Demonstrates a cooperative attitude towards superiors,co-workers, maintenance staff and the professional staff.
4. Reports to work in a well groomed and neatly attired manor.
5. Executes assignments in a safe and reasonable fashion.
6. Interacts with others in a courteous manner
7. Demonstrates safety and responsibility with respect to equipment provided by the Board of Education
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience as a school custodian, or the equivalent in custodial service at other institutions and firms.
- Demonstrate knowledge and expertise in the basic techniques of custodial service.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
- Certificate of good health by school doctor.
- Ability to read basic operating instructions and write reports.
- Ability to communicate with others.
- Demonstrate aptitude for completion of assigned tasks.
- Black Seal license (One-year time allowance).
- Valid NJ Drivers License
Required criminal history background check and proof of US citizenship or legal resident alien status
Must be NJ resident within one year from date of hire
