    Qualifications:                           1.    High school diploma or equivalent.
    1. must hold, or be eligible to hold, a Wyoming coaching permit with the appropriate endorsement.
    2. Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities.
     
    Reports to:                                Athletic Director
     
    Job Goal:                                   To organize and lead training sessions, strategize game plans, model sportsmanship, analyze performance data and provide constructive feedback to athletes and team members.
     
    Performance Responsibilities:
                                                                                                                                          
    1. Develop, drill, and practice activities that teach and enhance individual/team skill development that makes up the game/activity
    2. Work cohesively and collaboratively with assistant coaches and athletic director.
    3. Enforce appropriate safety and health rules and regulations.
    4. Build and maintain strong relationships with players and parents Communicate effectively with all audiences – players, parents, supervisors, peers and spectators.
    5. Model/demonstrate activities and equipment used to develop basic skills or physical condition.
    6. Observe, diagnose, and prescribe appropriate remediation activities during practice and game conditions for players and team.
    7. Assimilate innovations and adapt to changes where applicable.
    8. Support the philosophies of Big Horn County School District #2 activities.

     
    Terms of Employment:               To be established by the Board.  
     
    Evaluation:                                Performance of the job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board policy on evaluation of support personnel.
