Ball-Chatham School District is seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Language Arts Teacher at GIS. Language Arts Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, inclusive, and academically challenging learning environment that supports all students through district-approved curriculum. They plan and deliver engaging lessons using a balanced literacy approach, comprehension strategies for struggling readers, and the 6+1 Writing Traits to support writing development. The teacher interprets and implements IEPs, uses varied assessment methods to guide instruction, and differentiates learning to meet diverse student needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building rapport with students, parents, and staff, while maintaining professionalism, collaboration, and compliance with school policies.
