QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid K-6 Arizona Teaching Certification
- Five (5) years of teaching experience at the K-6 school level
- Have knowledge, skill and or experience in the implementation of Positive Behavior Intervention Supports (PBIS) strategies or be willing to receive training in those strategies.
DESIRED - Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction or Educational Leadership/Administration.
- Reading Specialist
- Coaching experience
- Experience with analyzing data

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Ensure that assessment data is communicated to teachers in a timely manner.
- Serve as an on-site coordinator, working with site personnel to facilitate administration of assessments.
- Regularly monitor assessment and intervention administration for integrity.
- Coach, facilitate and collaborate with classroom teachers on core instructional strategies for standard based instruction and any ongoing class wide interventions or individual interventions.
- Collect and monitor student achievement data.
- Review assessment data regularly with principals and make recommendations for instructional implications and/or remediation plans.
- Meet with grade level teachers to monitor student achievement.
- Attend regularly scheduled Instructional Coach meetings at the District Office.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
The Instructional Coach reports to the Director of Curriculum/Associate Director of Curriculum. The Instructional Coach will interact cooperatively with all other staff positions. All elements of good human relations will be practiced.
