About the Campus:
Nocona Elementary School (NES) serves approximately 355 students in Head Start through 5th grade, NES is located in the heart of Montague County, Texas. Our school has a staff of 34 teachers, a counselor, and an assistant principal. Nocona ISD operates on a 4-day work week. NES is part of a district that is at the top end of 2A enrollment.
Job Description: 
The Campus Principal will direct and manage the overall operations of Nocona Elementary School (NES), ensuring that all aspects of the campus run effectively and efficiently. The ideal candidate will provide strong leadership for the campus’s instructional program, focusing on maintaining high standards of teaching, fostering student achievement, and ensuring compliance with district policies and guidelines. This role is crucial in driving the success of the campus by overseeing day-to-day operations, facilitating positive school culture, and ensuring that all campus activities operate smoothly.                            
Special Knowledge/Skills:
                Working knowledge of curriculum and instruction
Ability to supervise and evaluate the performance of faculty and staff, fostering professional development and continuous improvement
                Ability to evaluate instructional programs and teaching effectiveness
                Ability to manage budget and personnel
                Ability to implement policy and procedures
                Ability to interpret data to inform instructional decisions and student interventions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to foster collaboration among staff, students, and the community
 
Qualifications: 
Minimum of 3 years as a classroom teacher
                Master’s degree in Education Administration or related field preferred
                Valid Texas Principal Certification preferred
                Prior campus administration experience preferred
                Certified T-TESS Appraiser preferred
 
Salary Range:
Negotiable, based on experience
