Job Goal:
Build positive relationships with students, families, staff and the greater Ashland community. Provide high-quality instruction to students. Engage positively and professionally in collaborative teams to regularly analyze data that will inform and adjust instructional practices to ensure student success. Present a positive image in contact with the parents, community, and staff. Properly handles confidential matters relating to students, student records, parents, staff and any other school-related issues.
This position requires, but is not limited to the following
:
Wisconsin Certification #1801 - Cross-Categorical Special Education or equivalent.
Ability to forge positive relationships with students and their parents/guardians of students.
Ability to work collegially with department staff, student services, administration, the faculty, maintenance staff, and community as needed.
Ability to implement standards based instruction and write standards based IEP goals in a timely manner.
Ability to facilitate student/parent meetings as needed.
